Our Story
Milinnery was founded in 2021 in Limassol, Cyprus — born from a simple belief that the accessories you wear every day deserve to be made with care.
Every scrunchie, hair bow, and headband is handmade by Ioana Stefan, by hand, in small batches, using quality fabrics chosen for how they feel against your hair and skin. No mass production. No shortcuts.
Why Handmade?
Mass-produced hair accessories are made fast and made cheap. The elastic pulls, the fabric frays, the clip breaks after a week.
Handmade is different. Each piece is cut, stitched and finished individually — which means every detail gets attention. Milinnery uses velvet, satin, cotton and specialty fabrics selected for softness and durability. The alligator clips are sturdy. The elastic is gentle. The finishes are clean. These are accessories built to last.
Meet Ioana Stefan
Ioana started Milinnery after years of frustration with hair accessories that looked good in photos but fell apart in real life. She began making her own, then making them for friends — and realised there was something worth building.
She designs every collection from her studio in Limassol, taking inspiration from seasonal colours, fabrics she loves, and the women who wear Milinnery every day. She reads every review and every message. The brand is small by choice.

Every Milinnery piece is made in Limassol, Cyprus. Small batches mean better quality control and less waste. When a design isn't right, it doesn't ship. When a fabric doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't get used.
This is what handmade means to us — not just a label, but a commitment to every piece that leaves the studio.
